Amy Carmichael, mulher inspiradora

Mês passado li o livro God's missionary, escrito por Amy Carmichael. Conheço o testemunho de Amy desde que era garota através da história missionária para crianças da APEC, que ouvi em EBF's e acampamentos. Porém, eu não sabia que Amy foi também escritora, deixando muitos ensinamentos e experiências de seu relacionamento com Deus durante os 56 anos em que foi missionária na Índia.

Descobri sobre os livros de Amy ao olhar na bibliografia de outro livro que gosto muito, Authentic beauty, escrito por Leslie Ludy. Então comprei esse pequeno livrinho de Amy, com apenas 58 páginas e uma mensagem desafiante.

God's missionary, traduzido: Missionário de Deus, fala das características do missionário que têm em seu coração um único propósito: ganhar almas. O "ide por todo o mundo e pregai o evangelho a toda criatura" é ordem de Jesus pra todos nós irmãos, por isso somos todos missionários onde estamos e é válido dar ouvidos às responsabilidades e compromissos que envolvem tamanha missão.

Primeiramente é necessário dar exemplo em tudo, sabendo que nossas atitudes são observadas a todo momento, parte por pessoas, e sempre por Deus. Que tipo de exemplo estamos dando ao nos relacionarmos com Deus e com as pessoas? Poderia uma pessoa ver Cristo em nós ao observar nossos atos mesmo fora do "campo missionário"?

Enquanto servia na Índia Amy recebeu uma carta de uma jovem que queria ser missionária e que perguntava como era exercer essa função. Amy respondeu: “A vida missionária é simplesmente uma forma de morrer”.Copyright © 2006 www.hermeneutica.com.

Viver uma vida separada à Deus é estar disposto a abrir mão de qualquer coisa que possa impedir que nosso relacionamento com Ele seja tão íntimo quanto é possível, até o dia em que o veremos face a face. Abrir mão da conversa tola e fofocas que não levam à edificação, pergunte-se antes de falar: é verdade, é necessário, é bondoso? Abrir mão das vestes inapropriadas, dos livros, novelas e recreações que não nos aproximam de Deus, mesmo que não sejam necessariamente erradas em si, mas tiram nossa atenção do que é nosso foco: almas pra Jesus. Se a atração não é a cruz, não vale a pena gastar tempo com isso.
Eu disse que o livrinho é desafiante. Rs. Agradeço a Deus pela vida da Amy, que deixou um exemplo de serva, de vida consagrada à obra inteiramente. O desafio está lançado, oro pra que eu e você possamos entender de modo prático como devemos negar a nós mesmos e seguir a Jesus. Não é fácil, eu sei. Mas seguimos para o alvo, deixando pra trás o que passou e caminhando pra frente.
Podemos começar hoje um novo compromisso com Deus, dedicando mais tempo com Ele, meditando em Sua Palavra, priorisando as necessidades dos outros mais dos que as nossas. Sabendo que se nos levantarmos por Jesus, Ele não nos deixará sozinhos.
O preço maior já foi pago quando Jesus morreu por mim e por você na cruz, nada que façamos poderá retribuir tamanho amor. Sigamos então amando-O em retorno, buscando ser cada vez melhores, mais perfeitos. Que nosso amor seja aquele que pergunta: Queres mais de mim Senhor? E não o que pergunta: Já tá bom assim Senhor? Queira dar à Deus o seu máximo, não o seu mínimo. O máximo do seu coração, do seu tempo, dos seus pensamentos, dos seus talentos, dos seus sonhos, dos seus dias. E ao que vencer, sendo fiel até o fim, esse será coroado. Amém!

A lógica de Einstein

Recebi esse texto hoje, por email, do meu Pastor, o Pr. Francisco Izidoro e gostei muito.

Duas crianças estavam patinando num lago congelado da Alemanha. Era uma tarde nublada e fria, e as crianças brincavam despreocupadas. De repente, o gelo se quebrou e uma delas caiu, ficando presa na fenda que se formou.

A outra, vendo seu amiguinho preso e se congelando, tirou um dos patins e começou a golpear o gelo com todas as suas forças, conseguindo por fim quebrá-lo e libertar o amigo. Quando os bombeiros chegaram e viram o que havia acontecido, perguntaram ao menino:
- Como você conseguiu fazer isso? É impossível que tenha conseguido quebrar o gelo, sendo tão pequeno e com mãos tão frágeis!
Nesse instante, o gênio Albert Einstein que passava pelo local, comentou:
- Eu sei como ele conseguiu.

Todos perguntaram:
- Pode nos dizer como?

- É simples, respondeu o Einstein.
- Não havia ninguém ao seu redor, para lhe dizer que não seria capaz.

'Deus nos fez perfeitos e não escolhe os capacitados, capacita os escolhidos'.

Conclusão:
Preocupe-se mais com sua consciência do que com sua reputação. Porque sua consciência é o que você é, e sua reputação é o que os outros pensam de você. E o que os outros pensam, é problema deles.

Christianity vs. Judaism - How to witness to a Jew?

I. Introduction

In this paper the differences between Christianity and Judaism are explained. A summary of Judaism history, main beliefs and customs are described. The main objections of Jews towards Christianity are addressed and discussed based on the Bible and secondary sources. The purpose is to present the gospel message using as start point the Ten commandments, to open the eyes of a Jew to understand that Jesus is the Messiah, the son of God, who came to earth from heaven to die on the cross paying the punishment for our sins.

II. History and Background of Judaism

i. The origin of Judaism

The historical origins of Judaism begin with the Hebrews and Abraham. The Hebrews were named after their ancestor Eber, son of Salá, who was the son Shelah, who was the son of Arphaxad, who was the son of Shem, who was the son of Noah. Abram was a descendent of Shem; God spoke to him and promised that he would be the father of a nation with descendents as numerous as the stars in the sky. And so it was, from the sons of Abram, Isaac and Jacob descended the nation of Israel. That nation was chosen by God to fulfill His purposes and give Him glory.

Because of a great famine the Hebrews migrated to Egypt where, for five generations, they were held as slaves and built Pithom and Rameses as store cities for Pharaoh. Then God chooses Moses to speak to Pharaoh and ask him to let the Israelites go. But as Pharaoh refused to free them, God sent ten plagues to Egypt. After the last plague, which caused a great mourning in all Egypt with the death of their firstborn sons, Pharaoh permitted the Israelites’ exodus. Moses led them out of Egypt to God’s promised land of Canaan.

During the period the Israelites were walking in the desert towards Canaan, God gave them the Ten Commandments, laws of morality and righteous living, and also instructions to build a tabernacle in which God would inhabit among them and be their God, and them His set-apart people.

Once they conquered the land of Canaan, at a certain point, the elders found it necessary for them to have a king to lead them. The first king was Saul, then David, then Solomon. “After Solomon's reign the nation split into two kingdoms, Israel (in the north) and Judah (in the south). Israel was conquered by the Assyrian ruler Shalmaneser V in the 8th century BCE. The kingdom of Judah was conquered by a Babylonian army in the early 6th century BCE.” {1}.The two kingdoms stayed in exile until part of them were lead back to their homeland by Ezra and Nehemiah. From the people that returned to Jerusalem, most of them were from the kingdom of Judah; therefore, they were further referred to as the Jews from Judah, and to the present, every descendant is called a Jew. As per Judaism, it is the religion of the Jews and of those converted to it, which has taken some variations over the years, being divided into three major branches: Orthodox, Conservative and Reform. But for our analysis, only the main roots and common beliefs of Judaism will be described, particularly the ones that contrast with Christianity’s beliefs.

ii. Judaism vs. Christianity beliefs

Christianity emerged from Judaism, hence the reason for some similarities between their beliefs.

The TNK (“Tanakh”), called the Jewish Bible, is composed of the Torah (the five books of Moses: Genesis, Exodus, Leviticus, Numbers, and Deuteronomy), the Nevi’im (the Prophets’ books: Joshua, Judges, Samuel I and II, Kings I and II, Isaiah, Jeremiah, Ezekiel, and the twelve minor prophets which is one book), and the Ketuvim (the Writings books: Psalms, Proverbs, Job, Song of Songs, Ruth, Lamentations, Ecclesiastes, Esther, Daniel, Ezra and Nehemiah, and Chronicles I and II). All these books are also part of the Christian Bible, but Bibles similarities end there. Whereas the Christian Bible has 37 additional books, the Jews have the Talmud and the Halachach. The turning point between Judaism and Christianity is whether or not Jesus is the Messiah. “The Jewish people believe that when the Messiah comes there will be an end to world suffering.” On the other hand, “Christians recognize Jesus as Christ, the Son of God, their savior, and the Messiah.” {2} In consequence of this contradiction others flow, making clear distinction between the two religions’ beliefs in the following aspects:

God: Judaism and Christianity are monotheists, they worship only one God. The difference is that Christians believe the Trinidad: that God is made up of God the Father, God the son: Jesus and God the Holy Spirit, the three together forming one God. Judaism sees Christianity's Trinidad as a failing of the idea of God's oneness.

Salvation: “Judaism does not require that a person convert to Judaism in order to achieve salvation. The only requirement for that, as understood by Jews, is to be ethical.” {3} For Jews being ethical is to obey the commandments of God. As for Christians, salvation is achieved through faith in Jesus as son of God and Savior, whose sacrificial death on the cross absorbs the sins of whoever believes in Him.

Sin: In the Jewish view people are not born essentially bad, but have both good and bad nature and free will to choose which to follow. For them sins are removed by seeking forgiveness. “Jews seek forgiveness from God for sins against God and from other people (not just God) for sins against those people. Seeking forgiveness requires a sincere sense of repenting but also seeking directly to redress the wrong done to someone. Sins are partially removed through prayer which replaced animal sacrifice as a way of relieving sins. They are also removed by correcting errors against others.” {3} Christians believe that men are born with a sinful nature and can not remove sins for themselves, but by accepting the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross they are free from sin.

Afterlife: In Judaism there are not many firm believes about Heaven and Hell, but the concern is focused in living a ethical life while in earth. Christians believe that Heaven is a place God prepared for those who believe in Jesus as their savior and accept the gift of eternal life, and Hell is a place for those who don’t.

III. Evangelizing a Jew

i. Building a relationship

The evangelization of Jews is a one by one process. Make a friend out of a Jewish coworker, classmate or neighbor is the first step. Demonstrate your care for them and appreciation for the Jewishness. Be careful in not telling Jewish people you love them; instead show them your love with actions. It will certainly have a bigger impact on them and it will set the foundation for your witness to them.

Engage in a conversation about Israel, or ask questions about a Jewish holiday, or a passage from the Old Testament to find out his opinion. Declare that you are a follower of Jesus; be honest about it from the beginning. Tell him/her your testimony. Most Jews thing that Christians were born Christians just as they were born Jews. As you tell them how you came to know Christ, how you pray and relate to God, you will stir up curiosity in them.

Share scripture and encourage your Jewish friend to read the New Testament. Many Jews came to believe Jesus as the Messiah by reading the New Testament. Be ready to answer questions and if you don’t know the answer just say you will research the information.

If you receive a rejection or negative answer don’t give up. Persist in prayer for your Jewish friend and watch out for any given opportunities. “Most Jews also think that the opposite of Jewish is Christian, and so for them to consider Jesus is problematic because it means considering losing their Jewish identity. Therefore, when witnessing to Jewish people about Jesus it is important to stress that they do not need to give up their identity as Jews in order to embrace Jesus as Messiah.” {4} Introduce him/her to a Jewish believer or give them books, literature or a website address for them to learn on their own. Be patient with your Jewish friend, helping them in every step of the way towards his/her understand and acceptance of the Gospel.

ii. Presenting the Gospel message

Ten Commandments: You may be a good person and do good works, no questions about that. But have you ever told a lie? Did you ever steal something, even something small like a paper clip? Have you ever used God's name as a curse word? Honestly. If you've done the three, you've already broken three of God's Ten Commandments, which are His standard of righteousness. If you lie what does that makes you? It makes you a liar. What are you called if you steal? You are called a thief. And if you use God’s name as a curse word you are called a blasphemer. Liar, thief and blasphemer by your own admission, and we only went over three commandments! We may try our best, but we are constantly breaking the law and making ourselves guilty before God.

Man’s sin: Since Adam and Eve disobeyed God by eating the prohibited fruit, all man is born with the “seed” of sin. Sin is everything we do, everything we say and everything we thing that does not please God. “For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.” {5}

If God were to judge you today by the Ten Commandments, would you be found innocent or guilty? Be honest. The Bible says: "For we must all appear before the judgment seat of Christ, that each one may receive what is due him for the things done while in the body, whether good or bad."{6} On judgment day as you stand before God, would you be sent to heaven or hell? Does that concern you? It truly concerns me because I don't want to spend eternity in hell and I think neither do you.
Salvation through Jesus: Let's suppose you've broken the law and were sent to court. There, you stand before the judge, and all facts proof that you are guilty of breaking the law. The judge finds you guilty and gives you a penalty of $500,000.00, but you don't have the money. Therefore, you will be sent to jail. The guards were ready to take you, when someone you never saw before walks into the room and say: I'm paying your penalty, you're free to go. How would you feel about that person? That's Jesus.

"For the wages of sin is death, but the free gift of God is eternal life through Christ Jesus our Lord." {7} He paid the penalty for all your sins by dieing on the cross in your place. “In fact, the law requires that nearly everything be cleansed with blood, and without the shedding of blood there is no forgiveness.” {8} If you repent from your sins, turn your back to them, and accept Jesus' sacrifice and believe in Him as your savior, you won't have to pay for all the times you've broken God's law. Instead of death and hell, He gives you eternal life and heaven.
When you pray, confessing to God that you've sinned against Him, repenting from all your wrong-doing and disposing yourself to be better from now on, declaring that you believe in Jesus sacrifice on the cross, that He died in your place. Than God will come and clean your heart, He will forget all your sins and He will live inside you and give you the gift of eternal life.

Growth and Sanctification: After you accept Jesus as your savior you are like a seed that needs to grow into a big tree and give fruits. For that to happen, read your Bible and talk to God in prayer everyday. Become a member of a church that preaches the Word of God. Share the Gospel message with people around you. Live a life that gives glory to God in everything. “So whether you eat or drink or whatever you do, do it all for the glory of God. Do not cause anyone to stumble, whether Jews, Greeks or the church of God.” {9}

But if you sin you must repent and ask God and your neighbor for forgiveness. “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” {10}

IV. Conclusion

The Jews are God's chosen nation, still they are not God's children until they accept Jesus' sacrifice on the cross for their sins, confessing Him as the Messiah. Only then they will partake of the promised new heaven and a new earth that God revealed to John. "Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth, for the first heaven and the first earth had passed away, and there was no longer any sea. I saw the Holy City, the new Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride beautifully dressed for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from the throne saying, 'Now the dwelling of God is with men, and he will live with them. They will be his people, and God himself will be with them and be their God." (Revelation 21:1-3) "Now if we are children, then we are heirs—heirs of God and co-heirs with Christ, if indeed we share in his sufferings in order that we may also share in his glory." (Romans 8:17)

There isn't a man or woman anywhere, I am convinced, who does not long for tenderness.

When I was in college, a girl who lived on my floor in the dormitory was pursued by a number of ardent young men on the campus. When the floor phone rang, we assumed it was for her. She was the kind who "could have anybody,'' it seemed, and treated most of them with casual carelessness. But one young man in particular would not be discouraged in his efforts to win her, even though she kept him at arm's length and declined some of his invitations. She made light of his attentions, as she did of many others', but was given pause one day when a bouquet arrived.

Like any woman, she eagerly snatched the card from its tiny envelope. Although one is supposed to be able to "say it with flowers," we all want plain English, too.

On the card were two words: Tenderly, Bill.

I think it did her in. She was a buoyant, outgoing, attractive, sometimes flippant girl, but that word pierced the armor. When she showed it to me, it gave me a whole new vision, through a single powerful word, of what that man was made of. He was not handsome by any means. He was rather ordinary, in fact. But suddenly I saw him as strong and unusually desirable. I had not known that tenderness was an absolutely essential ingredient in a man, but I knew it at once, when I saw the card, and mentally added it to the list of qualifications I would need if I ever found a husband.

Testemunho de uma missionária da APEC

Gostei muito desse testemunho e quis compartilhar com vocês. Queridos, milhões de crianças estão sendo arrastadas à perdição todos os dias e o que estamos fazendo? Vamos investir em almas.

Meu marido era pastor em uma Igreja de uma cidade pequena em Goiás. Eu pensava seriamente em fazê-lo desistir do pastorado para que pudesse alcançar os alvos e sonhos que tive desde criança: ser rica.
Eu queria muito ter dinheiro para me vestir bem quando estivesse grávida, comprar para meus filhos o que eu não pude ter quando criança, morar numa casa maravilhosa, passear com a família e tomar uma boa refeição em restaurantes legais. E por aí vai...
No final do terceiro ano do pastorado fomos fazer o Instituto de Liderança da APEC* e depois entramos no estágio para, quem sabe, sermos missionários na APEC.
Me lembro bem que estava se aproximando o aniversário de meu marido. Eu sempre valorizei muito o aniversário de alguém e queria comemorar, no mínimo fazendo um bolo para lancharmos juntos. Mas eu não tinha nem mesmo os ingredientes para fazer um simples bolo. Eu fiquei muito brava com Deus: “ Senhor, por que fez isso comigo? Eu não quero ser missionária. Eu nem ao menos tenho dinheiro para comemorar um aniversário! Isso não parece justo!”
Bem, Deus ficou calado. Eu pensei que sim. A noite, enquanto eu dormia tive um sonho:

Eu estava na cozinha, na pia, preparando o bolo do aniversário do meu marido. Ao lado estava uma mesa com quatro lugares onde estavam meu marido e três de seus familiares, prontos para comemorarmos aquele dia. Neste momento alguém apertou a campainha. Pedi que fossem atender a porta, afinal eu estava muito ocupada fazendo o bolo!
Ninguém foi. Fiquei brava, joguei o pano de prato com raiva na pia dizendo: “Tudo eu”.
Ao abrir a porta vi, a minha frente, um grande poço, uma cisterna. Havia uma tampa de concreto bem redonda, grande e pesada que tampava quase todo poço. Mas havia uma fresta por onde saia uma mãozinha de criança. Saí correndo para afastar a pedra e ouvi a voz de minha filhinha que estava com quatro anos pedindo socorro.
Aí sim, desesperei para tirar a pedra e salvá-la. Estava tão pesada que chamei meu marido: “Sérgio, venha me ajudar. A Marianna está presa.”
Ele veio e juntos empurramos a pedra. Pudemos tirar nossa filha mas, quando olhamos o poço estava cheio de mãozinhas levantadas clamando por socorro. Seus olhos estavam vendados. Percebi que subia água no poço e em breve morreriam afogadas.
Lembro de dizer no sonho para meu marido: “Chame mais pessoas para nos ajudar, porque sozinhos não vamos conseguir salvá-las”.
O sonho acabou.

Acordei chorando. Ajoelhei ao lado da cama dizendo: “Senhor. Eu lamento tanto. Eu estou preocupada com bolos, coisas... e tantas crianças morrendo sem Jesus. Eu entrego a Ti minha vida, meus sonhos, meu tempo, minha saúde. Usa-me. Quero investir minha vida em salvar vidas. Amém.”

Hoje convido você a nos ajudar neste investimento. Seja nosso sócio. Seja sócio de algum dos vários (ainda tão poucos!), missionários que estão indo tirar as vidas do poço, não de água, mas de fogo e enxofre!

Além de tudo isso todos podemos evangelizar. Levar a boa notícia da salvação, do lar que nos aguarda, do Pai que nos ama, do Filho que pagou o castigo do nosso pecado, do Espírito que nos socorre. Onde quer que viva, onde quer que vá podemos, todos nós, ser missionários.

Podemos cumprir a tarefa que Jesus nos deixou: “Vão pelo mundo todo e preguem o evangelho a todas as pessoas.” Marcos 16:15 NVI

Este sim, é o investimento certo!

Acampamento Boas Novas - APEC

Tenho muitas boas lembranças do ABN. Muitas mesmo!
Desde os 7 até 15 anos fui acampante assídua na temporada de Verão, ou seja, devo ter ido à mais ou menos uns 8 acampamentos, depois fui no projeto JUCA (Juventude Cristã em Ação) e depois fui equipante.



Hoje estava vendo algumas fotos e quase chorei de lembrar. É um lugar querido onde tive momentos especiais com Deus, momentos lindos, onde aprendi muito e me deu base pra ser quem sou hoje no Senhor, por isso tenho essa vontade de evangelizar crianças, por causa do ABN e do impacto que tantos equipantes, professores, pastores de lá tiveram na minha vida.
As noites da fogueira onde nos conságravamos ao Senhor, nos derramávamos aos pés Dele...foi numa dessas noites que entreguei minha vida pra missões. E o Senhor viu, e levou a sério.

Lembro das caminhadas na mata, onde exercitei minha coragem e determinação pra subir aquelas montanhas, me sujar no barro, cair e levantar de novo, ajudar o amigo ou levar tombo junto com ele, passar no meio do rio sujo e gelado...rs E depois descansar no alto da montanha, comer, beber e meditar na Palavra, cantar louvores, agradecer à Deus pela sua linda criação. Lições preciosas que aprendi.

No ABN fiz amigos com os quais me comunicava por carta durante o ano. Foi lá que joguei baseball pela primeira vez, foi lá que pude conhecer gente de várias igrejas e me sentia livre pra adorar à Deus pulando, cantando, dançando, sem aquele clima de culto da AD, só a alegria de adorar. Foi lá que passei a admirar o trabalho voluntário das pessoas que ali estavam, o amor ao ensino da Palavra. Lembro do Ron, um tio canadense e sua esposa. Eles tinham tanto carinho pela gente.

Taí um ministério que eu vou sempre carregar no coração porque tocou a minha vida.

Fidelidade ao futuro cônjuge

"Mulher virtuosa, quem a pode achar? Pois o seu valor muito excede ao de jóias preciosas. O coração do seu marido confia nela, e não lhe haverá falta de lucro. Ela lhe faz bem, e não mal, todos os dias da sua vida." (Provérbios 31:10-12)

Ontem, ouvindo o áudio da Leslie Ludy, aprendi que esses versículos ensinam uma linda lição por causa de uma única palavra: todos. A esposa de Deus, a personagem do capítulo 31, faz bem ao seu marido, e não mal, todos os dias da sua vida, mesmo antes de conhecê-lo. Ela o ama, o considera, se importa com ele, e o honra todos os dias, mesmo antes de saber seu nome ou quem ele é.

Quando falamos de pureza, de se guardar para o futuro cônjuge, uma pergunta sempre vem a mente: Até onde posso ir no namoro? O que na verdade é apenas um outro jeito de se perguntar: O que é permitido fazer? Essas perguntas somente enfatizam o fato de que nós, jovens cristãos, ao longo dos tempos temos apenas “ajustado” o namoro mundano aos conceitos que temos do que é “certo” ou “errado” sob o ponto de vista de Deus, para praticarmos um namoro “mais leve”. Dessa forma, namoramos como todo mundo; só não temos relações sexuais.
Vemos a pureza como se fosse uma linha divisória que não podemos cruzar, que limita até onde podemos ir, desde que não cheguemos ao ato sexual.

Lendo a Bíblia, aprendemos que desde o Antigo Testamento, na história da unção de Davi como rei, Deus já mostra o valor que Ele dá ao que está em nosso coração:

"...porque o Senhor não vê como vê o homem, pois o homem olha para o que está diante dos olhos, porém o Senhor olha para o coraçao." (I Samuel 16:7)

Sabemos que nossas atitudes são frutos dos nossos pensamentos. Portanto, a pureza não é apenas física, mas começa na mente, no coração. Atos de fornicação são consequências de pensamentos "românticos". Devemos viver uma vida separada dos padrões do mundo e em fidelidade à Deus, sendo diariamente renovados no nosso modo de pensar.

Invés de perguntar quanta intimidade física pode-se ter no namoro, deveríamos nos perguntar: Até onde posso ir para honrar meu futuro cônjuge e amá-lo desde agora, entregando ao Senhor essa área da minha vida? Isso significa guardar nossas emoções, sentimentos românticos, nossa atenção e tempo para a pessoa que tivermos certeza que nos casaremos. Se pergunte toda vez que se relacionar com alguém do sexo oposto: O modo como me relaciono com fulano(a) ofenderia meu esposo(a), causaria ciúmes ou machucaria de alguma maneira?

A decisão de viver uma vida separada é o fundamento para uma história de amor escrita por Deus. O termo romance foi inventado por Deus. Se homens podem escrever filmes e livros com histórias de amor tão lindas, Deus, que é o autor da vida, pode fazer do seu casamento um céu na terra. Rsrs! Ele não só pode, como quer fazer isso, para a glória do nome Dele.

Essas lições são novas na minha vida. Estou aprendendo que posso controlar e escolher o que penso, que uma mente como a de Jesus tem que ser meu alvo (Livro: The mind of Christ). Tenho buscado aprender a depender de Deus nessa área da minha vida, e garanto que não é fácil, mas sei que Ele sabe o que é melhor pra mim, confio no seu amor, tenho a certeza de que Ele é por mim e não contra mim. Espero ter abençoado sua vida.

Radiografias trocadas

Hoje fui ao dentista pra saber quanto custaria pra remover meu dente do siso que ainda não nasceu, mas precisa ser removido.
Levei a radiografia que trouxe do Brasil, na qual meu dentista marcou os dentes sisos que precisavam ser removidos. Eram três, dois em cima e um embaixo, eu supostamente nasci faltando um dente do siso. Pelo menos era o que eu pensava até hoje. hehe
Ano retrasado, extraí os dois dentes sisos de cima, com o filho do Pr. Arlindo Barreto, que é dentista. Então, só faltava o dente siso de baixo.
Mas hoje, o doutor meio suspeito, porque a radiografia é muito antiga (2003), quis tirar outra radiografia. E qual não foi a minha surpresa, e a dele também, quando notamos na radiografia nova, que tenho dois dentes sisos embaixo. Hehehe. Acho que a radiografia que eu trouxe é do meu irmão. Ooooppsss! Ele é que deve ter nascido faltando um dente do siso...e eu infelizmente vou ter que gastar $356 pra remover cada dente.
